Little Creek Stormwater Management Facility Has Been Cleaned Out!

After much scooping, drying, and hauling, the Little Creek Stormwater Management Facility has been cleaned out. After 3 days of hauling, over 600m³ of stored sediment has been removed from site accumulated over the last 18 years. With this, the project now proceeds to the restoration phase to re-vegetate the site. In the coming weeks you’ll see crews bringing in topsoil, and spraying seed specially formulated for stormwater management ponds. These seeds will re-naturalize the area with appropriate plants for birds and pollinators.
